Here's some js code. It binds to the History Tab link and calls the function to load the history when clicked. It will do this across all work item types.

KB Article - Ability to attach documents or Browse to a UNC path
1. Add an attachment like you do in Incidents and service requests. This way where it is stored is transparent to the article writer. I know this will add to the database size but most organisations cannot move all articles into an HTML format initially so this would be a quick win to get Knowledge bases moved.
2. Allow for an attach document button but have it open to an explorer window so the article writer can easily navigate to the document and it adds the UNC path or HTTP link (say from SharePoint) to the article.
Im sure there are various ways of doing this but this is a major drawback to moving to the KB article system.
Send Email - 'Add message to action log' selected by default
We are finding many people are not selecting this option as it's so far down the page that you have to scroll to see it, which many analysts are not doing. For us, we would always like to default to an option that records what was done.

Notify Analyst logic update due to @Mention
Would like to logic added to the workflow dll that if a action log comment contains an @mention entry that the workflow disregards sending the notify analyst notification.

Send Email Task - Multiple FROM Addresses
Hello IT Monkey :)
it would be great to have the possibility to change the FROM address in the send email task in the portal.
Either manually, or automatically, based on support groups / custom fields of the ticket.
For example:
We have one SCSM for Facility and HR, but the request to send mails through the portal with different sender addresses.

The ability to create Configuration Items through the portal is available with v11.2.1!
