Hello Community!

One of the easier ways to cut down on the amount of bandwidth on your site over time is to change out your images and convert them over to Data URI.

Instead of having a bunch of images hosted on a site or via IIS, you can insert data:image/png;base64 code into a Knowledgebase, or even your company web site. This furthermore cuts down on space used on your site if you want to be conservative with what is being hosted. Furthermore, it is fully supported on the latest versions Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Windows Edge, and Firefox, both desktop and mobile.

For an easy to use online converter, here are a couple of sites that will help in your conversion:

Im a big fan of the OneNote Snipping Tool as this does the conversion to base64 automatically so makes it a quick snip and paste onto a KB  B)
