Create a form to register new Ci's in the CMDB

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to use the portal as a webfront end for the SCSM CMDB?
We created a new class within the CMDB to track damage reports for cars in the company fleet.
I was wondering if one could easily create form and publish on the portal to allow the follow up of these CI's from within the HMTL portal.
Is this a feature that is in it or not?

Hi,
This is possible, to some extent, depending on what you need. You can create a form, which has a query prompt, which targets your custom class. This would allow users to select the individual CIs, and that CI would be related to the work item. You could then use Orchestrator, Powershell or whatever, and process the CI and information however you wish.
If you have a more concrete idea of what you want, we can better answer whether and how you could be done.
