Ability to save draft of IR/SR/CR before submitting

    This would be a great feature for the huge forms we have.

    The issue is if you're working on a ticket you wouldn't be able to give a Ticket #, as when you get SCSM to make a new ticket it gets a number.  Also applying a template would have to be redone from scratch to extract data and apply it on forms.... basically the current system of SCSM cannot do this as a template can only be applied to a created type projection which creates the ticket, so it would be a very large amount of work to basically make this happen as you have to program everything.

    I upvoted this a long time ago, but fully recognize that this would be a significant development effort that might not be worth the trouble.

    What you can do in the meantime is create a status of "Draft" and save your tickets with that status.  You would just remove tickets with a status of "Draft" from your views and reports.
