Been asked by management to track incidents related to specific website end points. for example google.com
We have a large number of internal sites and a pretty good sized list of every day use external web sites.
I am thinking I will have to create these as business services (maybe with custom classification)
Wondering if anyone else has setup some similar or your thoughts how to address the request. Thanks

We live in a very service catalog, service owner related world, when we approached a similar problem we just created a sw asset type for end points and created them as software assets. Which then was attached to the services they impact as related items, we utilize heavily the service owner field to report on any breaks anywhere in the chain of our services, db, apps, end points, switches, clusters that are related to the service at a higher level just to keep a very visible impact chain to our business partners.5
