Show Closed work items in the Portal

Our Analysts will sometimes have to go back to view work items that have been closed. Requesting that closed work items be available to be viewed in the portal.

    If you create a "Closed" view (or find an existing one) in the console and promote it to the portal using the View Builder, that works just like you would expect.  If your intention is to have something out-of-box instead, that might not be a bad idea either.

    Yeah we can certainly promote a view from the Console. Our Help Desk would like a view that shows ALL SRs and IRs in one view, in all statuses for each work item. So promoting a view would make sense. However, it would be cool to see some kind of view like this in the Portal OotB

    We've done this with a saved search and a table widget on a new page, but it would be much better to have Closed items included in the Show Inactive Work Items view, maybe through a setting? Upvoted!

    Can you define more? List of closed items or also the ability to open and view the contents of the work item?

    If just the list you can do this by adding a data sources to your warehouse DB. And then creating SQL table or chart widgets. We have done this to provide specific metric charts. 

    If all contents that is a lot more and you need to make sure your warehouse is currently capturing the action log. (By default it does not)
