Affected CI - use combination class ?

Hello,
When analysts add an affected CI to an incident, they have the choice between a lot of classes. Usually, they either select a hardware asset or a configuration item.
My question is: as there is a relationshio between a hardware asset and a CI (after the workflow ran) can we use a combination class in the list ? That way we would have access to the properties of both classes.
If that's not possible I would have to develop a custom task with a search that will call the GetProjectionByCriteria api

Not all objects are exposed through the Cireson Portal. If you have a look on the SCSM console and attempt to add an Affected CI to a work item you will see there are over a hundred different choices to make. This can make it difficult to find exactly what you are looking for (especially if some classes have the same name)
So the Cireson Portal only exposes a smaller number of classes on an object, mostly the most common/important are displayed.

If your object doesn't appear, you may need to try a different method to be able to add it.
