Contract Notice Period against a Support Contract

Most contracts automatically renew at the end of each term unless notice is provided to the vendor. The notice period is usually 90 days but can vary.  It would be of benefit to capture the notice period against support contracts and then have notice events capable of using this information to send notifications.  This would allow for support contracts to be reviewed in a timely manner and avoid instances where a contract has auto-renewed!

Our company is in the process of evaluating Cireson for Asset Management, I was under the impression that this sort of feature existed?  We currently have a notice go out for 90, 60, 30 days before contract expiration to the contract admin and owner.  Might you be able to expand on how Cireson currently does this?

In the Asset Management Settings you set a % of the contract remaining to have it set a Warning status for contracts. This is a global setting for Leases, Support Contracts, and Warranties. The above feature request is a common request. Please give it an up vote if you have not already. Those do get sent to our development team. In the mean time, you can extend the different Contracts with a list property for "notify period". With list values of 30, 60, 90, 120. Then they used that along with subscriptions to setup additional notifications. You can also setup views that show contracts with 30/60/90 days before expiration. Based on the expiration date, you can base views for expiring contracts in a certain calendar or financial quarter.
