Adding custom CIs and customizing display

Two questions:
1) Is it possible (and if so, how) to change the order of columns displayed in the Asset Excel app?  We've extended the Purchase Order CI to add several properties and, for workflow purposes, would like to have the columns in a certain order in Asset Excel.

2) If we add a custom CI class, will Asset Excel automatically pick it up, or is there a way to add it?  This would be a new CI under Asset Management -> Administration.

    1) No, you can't change the order. There are feature requests to add some custom abilities to Asset Excel.

    2) Custom properties will get picked up, custom classes will not. What class are you adding. Because there are some limitations on custom classes in the CIreson Portal too.
