Is this available for Excel 2016 yet?

Do we know when this will happen, if at all?

It should work with Excel 2016 already.  Are you having issues with it?

@Justin_Workman Kind of. I go to the downloads page and it says its for 2012 and 2016:

I agree to the terms and it downloads ok, however, the 2016 version is not there:

I can assure you that version will work with 2016.  I just double checked on my 2016 box and that's what's installed and working there.

Ok. I get this error when I try to go further

Yet I have Excel 2016 on my machine:

I should be selecting the right version of the app:

Ah.  I think there's an issue with the check for Office 2016 being installed in the 64 bit version.  Here's a version that doesn't do that check.

The excel plug in is SCSM version agnostic. The only real difference between 2012 and 2016 was the .net version for the form  rendering. As the excel plug in has no SCSM gui and just talks straight to the backend it so doesn't use .net in the same way.
In terms of Excel version, it supports 2013 and up.

As a customer, I've used this in Excel 2013 and 2016 on SCSM 2012, 2016, and 1801, without needing to upgrade Asset Excel, for all the reasons stated by Geoff.  I'm using Office 32-bit which might be the difference here.

Yeah, I was using the app until my machine was upgraded to Windows 10 and a lot of the software needed to be installed again. I was using Excel 2013 before.
