Hardware not deleted

Maria_jandtMaria_jandt Customer IT Monkey ✭
We have servers that are deleted from AD/SCCM etc, they don´t exist anymore, but still shows in Asset management. aren´t they supposed to be deletet by default if not existing in SCCM ? have we missed a setting somewhere ? Have been looking around but can´t find any information about this.
Thanks in advance

No Hardware Assets will be deleted if Windows Computers from AD or SCCM are removed. Hardware Assets should be placed in a Disposed state, as you are responsible for HW even after it is removed from your company. The Windows Computers will show in Deleted Items, which can be removed.

It is a HW Asset status you will have to set manually as part of the removal and disposal process/procedures.
