Service Manager 2012 R2 Update Rollup 14

John_BeasleyJohn_Beasley Customer IT Monkey ✭
Has anyone had experience with this Update Rollup? I have installed it and now none of My Consoles work except on the server. I cannot get them to work on a workstation that worked previously before the update.
Thanks,
John

Were the consoles updated to UR14 as well? Or are they still running previous versions?
I've just tested this in my lab and been able to connect to my server from a workstation console. Might want to check network settings.

Are you getting any error messages?

Yes I updated the console on my workstation to update rollup 14 as well. When I open the console from any workstation it gets stuck at initializing and just freezes.

Yea i tried removing from the computer and re-adding. I’ll reach out on Technet and I have a ticket open with Microsoft.

Did you ever find out what was causing this issue?

Yes I did :) finally. You have to go into the registry on each workstations and navigate to the following registry keys and add the below value to each.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v2.0.50727Framework
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v2.0.50727
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319

Add DWORD SystemDefaultTLSVersions and set it to 1
