File Attachment Date and Time

I've seen a few people ask for the date and time to show on file attachments in the Drag/Drop control, so here is the customization that we use to display the date and time on file attachments when viewing on the portal

@Jeff_Lang thank you for this modification. I was just going to raise feature request like this and found it :) I like it. Here are some more suggestions:

    • dates are not visible by files with long names -> put dates to separate line
    • change icon by filetype
    • order attachments by date (or more advanced: option to choose order type)
    • add user who attached the file to the info (new line again)
    • change file attachment badge when new attachment (-n hours from page refresh?) is added
    • all above mentioned options to be easily customizable in source code (variables)
    • it would be nice to add some screenshots to show anyone what does it do before downloading
    • add how to install it for less skilled users

    Thanks.

I tried this extension but the date on the filename gets cut off when being displayed in the portal. Is there a way to just expose the AddedDate attribute on a line below the filename?
