Create Configuration Items in the SCSM Portal

Is there a feature planned to create Configuration items within the portal? We want to use the portal to create Configuration items because the alternative way through the console is not really good. We have multiple Configitem classes and in the next months it will be more and more. Today the analysts use the console and there they have to create a custom form for each class in the console. This is a heavy workload. In the portal it is easy to create forms for our configitem classes. But there is no standard way to create a configitem. It would be perfect if a /dynamicData/New form would exist which uses our custom portal CI forms and we could create a configitem like in the console. This would make our effort much less than in the console.
