If you have an analyst who is unable to click the "Is Private" comment add, what is the direction of troubleshooting you should take?

I have checked the security role in SCSM, looks like the rest of my analysts.

    Hi Chris

Sounds like a client side issue, have your tried having the analyst test on another browser and PC? If it works then try some troubleshooting like IE options reset to default, profile reset etc.

Can the analyst add a private comment from another users computer? This will indicate if it's a user issue or a computer issue.

Has the analyst switched permissions at all in the last month? We have encountered times when user roles are more than a month old even though they have been updated. I believe we had to restart everything to fix it.

That seems a bit strange, if it was the custom javascript I would have thought it might affect every user.

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to find the cause. Let me know if you need any more help.

    Regards, Tony
