Have an easy way to see if a workitem is a child object in the Cireson Analyst Portal

If an incident is a parent we get a nice icon in the views, however, we would like to have the same thing for child incident but with a different icon. So if we stand in team workitems, for example,   we can easy see what incidents are a child items.

I would like to see this as well. A different icon on the first row of the grid would be nice.

I would like to see a support that not only shows if a WI is a child or parent but shows the other WI's that are a child of the parent.
It would also look at the Category selected and if there is a current Parent IR or PR that is open with the same Category. This would allow analysts to see that there is currently an open case that maybe we should link this to.
This could be shown up as a sub window to choose from, or a toast notification to not interrupt the analysts flow of input

Temporary fix, currently using on engagement with customer:

    1. On the Incident Status list, create a child status to Active called "Active Child" or preferred name

    2. In Settings > Incident Settings > Parent Incident > Status of active child incident when linked to parent
Select the below radio button and choose your newly added status "Active Child"

Result: As soon as you associate an Incident to a Parent Incident, the status with change.
And in any of the views for Incidents, you will see the new status in the "Status" column

Cons: If you unlink the Incident from the Parent, you will need to change the status of the previous child back to Active. But if this does not happen often, then it may not be an issue.
Unfortunately there is no flag for Is Child or Has Parent to kickoff a workflow to change it back to Active.

Interesting workaround and certainly when linking the child this works well but the one Con of it not automatically switching back is a real pain.
I guess it wouldn't be hard to create a new workflow that could run every hour or so and check all Incidents with a status of Active Child and if they are no longer associated with a parent, change the status to Active.

This would be a quick little fix....

However, it would be better to just have this in the portal as a built in solution and forget about how it looks in the console.
