Currently we are using SCSM 2012 R2 system and will be soon upgrading to SCSM 2016.
I guess we may have to upgrade our portal to 6.0 for SCSM 2016? Also we are using SQL database, so would we need to update our DB as well or 2015 SQL would solve the purpose.
Also is Cireson compatible with SCSM 2016?

Cireson applications will be fully compatible with SCSM 2016 within a week or two of SCSM 2016 RTM, depending on how much the bits change from the latest Technical Preview.
Currently, we are testing our applications with TP5 of SCSM 2016, and are having great success.
You will need Portal 6.0.1+ in order for it to function with SCSM 2016.
There is no need to upgrade your SQL database as 2016 and Cireson will both continue to run perfectly fine on SQL 2012.6
