Request Offerings with multiple columns

We have some complex forms that we want to turn into request offerings.  They have multiple check boxes on them and users can choose many different items.  With the current request offering this makes the form very long.  It would be great to have the ability to put information into multiple columns on the screen.

That is great, thank you for sharing.  Now it is a feature request we will see what happens!

How would you envision this working in your environment?
A WYSIWYG editor that allows you to move controls at will?
Or maybe a set of standard layouts like we currently have for dashboard designer?

The issue I see here is that the number of combinations that customers might want could be almost infinite.
Don't get me wrong I love the idea and want it as bad as the next person, just trying to see how this would look for the admin when they are creating these.

Maybe a Drop down for each question that allows the allocation of Full or Half page width.
If there are two questions in a row that have half page width, then set them next to each other.
    Something like:

    First Name; Text; Half
    Last Name; Text; Half
    Phone; Half
    Manager; Query; Full

This example would render First Name and Last Name taking up half the page and on the same line, Phone taking up half the page on the next line, then the Manager selecting Grid taking the whole page on the next line.

    Thoughts?

WYSIWYG editor Please (drag and move input fields). More and more solutions provide this flexibility these days.

plus move creation of request offerings into the portal (outside of the console). This should make it easier to implement more flexible solutions.

    cheers,
    Adrian

WYSIWYG option is great, would want to be able to do what you have identified but also the option for 3 columns.  This could be limited to check boxes if needed as they are the most likely to want 3 columns.

I disagree with Adrian about moving it to the portal, we only use the console and having to use the Portal for request offerings would be tedious for us.  Again different people use it for different things in different ways.
