Removing Annoucements??

I have a few questions regarding announcements:
- How do disable / remove an announcement once I have created it via the portal?
- Are announcement in the portal separate to announcements in the console, or are they related? (they seem to be separate).
- Is there a way for end-users (and analysts) have announcements (created within the portal) popup on their desktop machine as a notification (not just via the portal)..

1. You can do this by editing the announcement in "Manage Announcements" from the portal menu if you are logged in as an SCSM admin, select the announcement then delete.
2. Correct they are separate
3. Portal Announcements only show on the Portal, however it is possible to create a popup on the end users computer by using the SCSM ticker app (though you have to create the announcement from the console) or with the ConfigManager Ticker App (Sending announcements to user or computer collections)
