Cireson BarCode WebAPI - Only Uses Old License - Won't work with just New Licensing Experience

Hi all,

After raising Incident Ticket IR41207 with Cireson regarding the CiresonWebAPI folder not building the necessary cache files on a rebuilt environment, it turns out it is because it will only function using the old licenses that were used for the Cireson Portal back on version 2 and version 3.  It relies on the old keys being present, as in, the Analyst, SSP, and HTML keys.

To further help, I've broken down the structures of Old License vs New License.

Info

Old Licensing (prior to v4.0.6)

New Licensing Experience (starting v4.0.6)

Management Pack ID

Management Pack Name

Cireson.Analyst.Web.Console

Cireson.Console.Licensing

Class Name

Cireson.Analyst.Web.Console.Settings

Cireson.Console.Licensing.Settings

License Property Name(s)

1)      AnalystPortalKey

2)      SelfServicePortalKey

3)      HTMLKBKey

1)      ProductKey

Cireson has made the effort of adding this to the Known Issues list as well since the longer Cireson doesn't fix it, the more likely NEW clients will be frustrated trying to get this BarCode App working due to this hard-to-troubleshoot issue.

Connor, thanks for raising visibility on this issue. Definitely a challenge for us to, and an issue we are working to iron out later in the year. Will keep you posted when we have more than a workaround, and have put this issue to bed entirely.
