Notification of Knowledge Article Comment or Rating

As our Knowledge Base grows, keeping on top of comments and ratings is becoming difficult.  Could Knowledge Managers be notified when a new comment/rating is added, and could users have the option to subscribe to replies of their comment or rating?

The notification could be email, or something like the announcement bar when accessing the portal.

Further, I have had many reports from users that when providing a rating without a comment, it is not clear that the Submit button still has to be clicked.  Could the behaviour be changed so that the start rating is submitted when the relevant star is clicked?

    Notifications are good.  Keeping track via the Knowledge Dashboard is better.  Having both = awesome.

    Great feature request!
    would also like to see notifications to kb owners once a kb article has not been updated within x months. X being configurable within the settings. This would provide knob owners an opportunity to update stale articles..

    We would really like to have this feature too.

    If not we will probably mask the ratings.
