Custom User picker list question

I dont know if anyone has made one or has an idea how to achieve this, but we would like to make a form in the portal that would contain a user picker list that would interact with AD (like the user picker for opening on behalf off) that would save the choice in a custom field that i could then use in a runbook. I know i could use a query result list but its kind of big and clunky when your need multiple user list in the same form

If it gets enough votes to hit the top few requests then it will get looked at by the dev team...
However....

We have had similar conversations in our company as well. The "On Behalf of" picker works like most customer's feel like a user picker should work and it would be great to be able to have the picker boxes work more like that.
If it gets enough votes to hit the top few requests then it will get looked at by the dev team...
