SR Custom Status - Tags as Inactive

We created a custom status called 'Converted to IR' in the SR enumeration list. When we set the SR to this value, the ticket continues to show as Active in the Cireson portal. We'd like for the SR to disappear from the My Work view in the Cireson portal when an SR is set to this custom status. Is there a way to do this?
