Config Manager Ticker App Feature Request - hide icon on taskbar

Is it possible to hide the Config Manager TickerClient  to prevent end user from closing ticker app ?

With registry key, you can disabled the "Exit" button, but you can close the app by using TaskManager (if you have the right for that).

Maybe, an other way is to install your product as a service ?

Certainly if the user can access Task Manager, then they can close the app (and most any app running). That has not been restricted, only the ability to close via the right-click and Exit option. If others really feel that the ability to prevent the app from being closed from Task Manager is important, they can vote up the suggestion and we can analyze that feedback. As of today, that has not been planned to be implemented, just the Registry process to prevent interactive closure. Thanks for the suggestion however.

The chapter "Hide the system tray icon" is part of the "KB1346-ConfigManTickerApp-v1_-2.pdf", what is part of the download-source "Cireson-ConfigMgr-Ticker-App-v1.2.1608.9". In my opinion this request is "Completed".
