Persistent - WorkItem table not updating

Starting this week, we're noticing that the CacheBuilder is not updating the WorkItem table as discussed here: https://community.cireson.com/discussion/779/workitem-status-not-update-in-views-in-portal

We can truncate LastModified as discussed, but the next cycle, we fail to update.  There are no errors in the logs, however, we're seeing (x8 per minute):  Data was dropped due to too much outstanding data in rule "Microsoft.IntelligencePack.LogManagement.Collection.PerformanceCounter.ID0EHACAAA" running for instance "W403SMPP04.kodakalaris.net" with id:"{FCED46B1-6AD0-A153-CCAC-3C1372EAED6A}" in management group "OM_KODAKALARIS".

Wanted to check here before opening a support ticket.
