Why showing an answer on a hidden question

When we create an Advance Request Offering with standard options (simple list), the questions with standard answers are always visible at the User Input. They are also visible when the question wasn't visible for the user. This is confusing when a line manager needs to approve or the user looks at his request in the Portal. Why is this and is this and can we expect a solution for this?

I think that is basic SCSM functionality, so I don't know if it's fixable, without causing too much trouble. What you could do, is hide the whole User Input part on both the SR form and portal, and instead use the multiple mapping functionality of ARO to present the answers.

If you have a value set as default for an ARO, then this will be included, even if the question wasn't displayed to the user. As mentioned, this is the same functionality as SCSM regular RO's (execpt they show all questions to the user)

If you don't want an option to be displayed upon saving, leaving a blank default (done in Configuration of Simple List) will do the job and won't show that detail.
