Sequence contains no matching element

Or in the cachebuilder.log file you will see an error The Analyst Group is Invalid such as the below, which will prevent all syncing of the cachebuilder schedules.


This error is common after users first install the Cireson Portal and is simply fixed by syncing your groups to Service Manager.

Typically this error happens when the groups (AnalystsADgroup, KBManagerADGroup etc) you have specified during the install does not exist in the CMDB of service manager so the cache-builder cannot retrieve the Distinguished name.

First check if this exists by opening up the SCSM console and choosing configuration items -> Users.

If the groups don't exist check you have configured an AD connector (If not create one!) or check if you do have an AD connector that it isn't target a container where your portal groups may not exist.

After confirming the AD connector has synced, confirm you can see your groups in the console and restart your "Cireson Cachebuilder" windows service found on your portal server.
