Knowledge Base, workflow/Work Item style actions

The knowledge manager dashboard is a great quick view of knowledge article concepts, but does nothing in the way of creating actionable items for one to take (and ultimately track/report on). For example:
  • What if there was a way to trigger Review Activities to a Knowledge Manager? You could review comments for content before allowing them to be posted to the article.
  • What if there was a way to provide a portal notification unique to Knowledge Managers leveraging the Notification section of the portal?
  • What if there was a way to provide the Author of a knowledge article a portal notification if the rating was averaging below a certain threshold?
