ARO - Have Direct Links open in an iFrame / New Tab

I just created a new ARO using the Direct Link option to link this request to another system.  I love that we can do this, but I'd love it even more if we could either:

a) load the new page in an iFrame
b) load the new page in a new window/tab

Is this possible to do now with some workaround?

    Hi Chris

    Great idea!

As a workaround you could create the custompage iframe following the guide I posted here. Then direct link to this iframe URL in your ARO.

Thanks Joe.  I'll consider this option for now!

    Hi Chris

    Great idea!

As a workaround you could create the custompage iframe following the guide I posted here. Then direct link to this iframe URL in your ARO.
So in essence build a iframe page for each link we want - which really doesn't always help.

for example - we have a link to our building facilities portal (log that ticket for broken toilets on their site not ours).   I really want it to open another tab - not replace the helpdesk page's tab - and not be part of my portal (i anticipate a lot of scrolling inside the iframe)

Seems like it would be better to support the target = feature of html or just to change the default target the be a new tab instead of overwriting the page.
