List or Ticker of Active Parent Incidents (or High Priority IRs?)

When the service desk are logging new calls it would be nice if there could be a list or a ticker bar pop up, that lists the currently active Parent Incidents (or incidents with a high priority). 

So that the analysts are immediately alerted to existing major issues before logging a call.

The list could have a link to the call, that they could use to create a linked call to.
