Two quick questions:
 
1) Is it possible to have the top search bar default to Knowledge Base (instead of Service Catalog) when you're viewing the Home page (or any other page that's not the Knowledge Base page?
 
2) I've looked over your KB article for customizing the fields on a request offering but don't see a way to make the width of the text boxes auto-scale to your browser window.  If you're viewing the portal in a maximized browser window at a larger resolution, the text boxes only stretch to a fixed size and don't scale to the full width leaving lots of white space.  (see screenshot)
