Software Asset Update Connector Not Updating

We have imported a list of 600 Software Assets into CAM and created a software metering update connector. The install counts aren't being updated when the connector runs; however, manually selecting the software and clicking the 'Update Software Asset' does update the install count. I've gone through the asset import documentation to setup and resetup the connector. Is there something else I should look at?

In your spreadsheet for your Software Assets are all the required fields populated? You can also create a view in the console or use Asset Excel to check these:

SW Asset Name, SW Asset ID (GUID), Software Pattern, Purchase Count

If even one of these are blank, the regular daily workflow to update these will not run. However, the individual task will work on SW Assets that are not missing these values.

For SW Metering, there should be 2 connectors, and have you added the appropriate SW Metering Filename to the SW Assets that you have created rules for in SCCM?

Does the logs show its importing from the connector?  Check and see if it create a log and what the log says.

Hi Donson,
  Yes, the Asset Import log shows that they were imported. Then when I run it again it finds the asset and updates it.
