URL Format Question for Cireson Portal

Hi all, i searched the community but didn't see this exact question asked anywhere. If I just missed it, please feel free to just link me to it.
I am configuring one of my notification templates of Manual Activities, and I would like to have a line that says something like "to view the request, click here" and then provide the hyperlink.
Now, when I look at the URL, it appears I also need the parent work item.
So basically my question is - am I approching this correctly? Do I actually need to find and put the parent work item in the URL hyperlink as well? If so, what is the related class property I need from the Template Design? None of the selections I've tried produce the parent SR.

Hey there,
this doesn't exactly answer your question, but why not try to leverage the new activity pages (provided you're at least semi-somewhat up to date with the portal version) and have the link in the notifications for the MA's in the forms
scsmdev/ManualActivity/Complete/<ID>
This is the link for the new manual activity pages, in your specific case it would be scsmdev/ManualActivity/Complete/MA1649
The new approval / review activity pages also have a url friendly version where you don't need the parent WI. : scsmdev/ReviewActivity/Approval/<ID>
Sadly, these new activity pages aren't promoted and can't be leveraged almost anywhere in the portal (not in custom queries or anything like that) and the only place through which you can get to these through the portal is going to either Manual Activities section or Approval section of My Work. Very unintuitive and it's quite sad that these aren't "promoted" more.
The links however will work in notification emails (we plan to use them in the same way soon), so you should be good to go with these!
Or did I get it wrong and you wanted to provide a link to the parent WI in the MA notification template and not to the MA itself? The new activity pages contain all the SR info as well in them , so I guess you can work with these anyway in the case if you want the user to have all the SR & MA info @one place.

No problem, glad I could help! 😊 @Cireson, take notes. As I've pointed several times to multiple Cireson folks, promote the new activity pages as much as you can, wherever you can. They are hard to find / get to if you don't know where to look for them and that's a shame.
