Odata calendar title reverting back to 'OData Calendar Widget'

The title reverts back to its default, instead of retaining the title it was given. This seems to happen in a multi server environment.
I have tried creating the calendars via a vip, directly linking to a specific server URL and direct on the server itself (via localhost).
Its not specific to calendars for us, but we would like to introduce custom calendars for teams and their title is bound to be brought up.
Looking to upgrade the portal, but its been something I've noticed on other custom views over a number of versions. I was curious if anyone has encountered this and found a workaround?

AFAIK the renaming problem on oData widgets happens when you use windows authentication.
We have the same issues on all oData widgets, but we only have one web server. There is already an open problem for that, unfortunately it hasn't been solved in the last few releases.
