Problems after Microsoft Monitoring Agent installed on DW Management Server
Hello Experts, recently we inadvertently installed the Microsoft Monitoring Agent on our SCSM Data Warehouse Management Server (2012 R2). The result is that our DW jobs no longer run at all. Also, Microsoft System Center Service Manager has disappeared from the Add/Remove Programs list so we're unable to uninstall it so we can reinstall.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Can it be fixed? Is reinstall now the only option? How can we reinstall if we can't uninstall first?
Thanks!

However, if you DO install SCOM on a server with SCSM already installed, it will overwrite the Uninstall registry key and therefore the SCSM installation will look like it disappeared.
Here is the definitive Microsoft Technet article on the subject.

As SCSM was built by the SCOM team, a lot of the underlying code is SCOM at heart. So much so that the workflows within SCSM are run by the SCOM agent. So when you install SCSM it is already installing a SCOM agent and you don't need to install a new one. All you have to do is configure it to report to your SCOM gateway server. Here is a post regarding this: https://technet.microsoft.com/system-center-docs/om/Manage/Configuring-AgentsHowever, if you DO install SCOM on a server with SCSM already installed, it will overwrite the Uninstall registry key and therefore the SCSM installation will look like it disappeared.
