Can you populate query results in a request from an external database using SQL

Jarrett_FaulkJarrett_Faulk Customer IT Monkey ✭
Hello again Cireson friends,

I've been tasked with determining if it is possible to populate and refresh lists in service manager with data that is pulled from either a SQL or an Oracle database.  These lists would be used in service requests and hold data such as ouid, security groups, etc.  The functionality of Query Results entry is really what i'm looking for but i'll need to populate that from the main databases.  When we had our demo I saw a place to connect to external databases but I cannot seem to find that now.  Is this something that is possible?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You can't directly query an external data source through query results, but perhaps what you're referring to is the native import csv function or Cireson's Asset Management data import connector?
