Ever since we started to use the Outlook Addin, Outlook has been slow to start and we get a error
Outlook has been slow to start since we started to use the Outlook add-in. We been getting these COM add-in problem pops, does anyone know what if any setting changes that can be made to help improve this issue. We are currently using Office 2010 but in the process of upgrading to 2016 but both version have the issue.

This is just outlook warning you that it took a while to load the Plug-In, its not an error as such. I assume the reason it takes this long is because you have the plugin set to connect on start up so it needs to contact the SCSM Management Server specified and log in to SCSM.
If this management server is overloaded, it can take this long. I would advise not to point the Plug-In to your primary workflow server, instead stand up a dedicated management server for console and plug-in connections. This should help speed things up. However, its still dependant on network connectivity, AD for the authentication and other factors.
