Emails within Service Manager can sometimes be difficult and not as flexible as we would like.

Is there any scope to link email notifications to the Advanced Request Offerings so you can select the notifications that are appropriate, or create a custom notification for that offering. 

We have used runbooks in the past but I was hoping there was a better way.

    Sorry @S_Terry, there is nothing of this type in the current build of ARO.
    The E-Mail template builder out of the box from Microsoft is not very user friendly and does not have a WYSIWYG style editor that we would all like to see.
    Our solutions utilize the SCSM engine for event and notifications so there is no way at present to trigger our own e-mails or utilize Cireson custom templates.

    However, please feel free to raise a feature request to either have a way to trigger specific e-mail templates from an ARO or maybe to incorporate a WYSIWYG e-mail template editor in the Cireson portal (Similar to the KB Article editor) that could save it's content back to the SCSM Management Packs.

    I'd vote for it.....
