ConfigItems - Show extended parameters

Daniel_PedersenDaniel_Pedersen Customer IT Monkey ✭
Hi guys,

I have extended the Microsoft.SystemCenter.BusinessService class with both relationships and strings. Can I somehow present the content when I open a Business Service in the portal, from the Configuration Items Node?

Thx in advance.

Any custom properties that you add are cached to the Cireson Portal database using the cache builder.
To then get them to show on the screen you will need to edit the templates within the IIS folder.
However, the forms that are available to be edited do not include Business Services CI.

So, to get extra data to show up, you would have to use some Java Script in the CustomSpace\Custom.JS file to place these values on the form as needed.
Or, write a new form that will show the Business Service CI and all it's parameters.

If someone in the community has an example of this please share it here for @Daniel_Pedersen

I hope this gets you the answer you are after.
