Import SCCM Software Metered Targets as Software Assets

Wondering is anyone has setup a SCSM Asset Management connector to pull in the configured Software Metering as software assets in SCSM?

Yes, this is a simple install but the ConfigMgr environment need to be configured correctly to collect the data that the Asset management system is expecting.

You are not missing anything @Brian_Wiest
There is no Automatic creation of Software Assets unless you ave a list that you can generate in Excel or CSV format then use the Asset Import Connector or Asset Excel to bulk create them.

The specific software metering rules must be setup and working in ConfigMgr and the exact matching rule setup in the Software asset before the workflow will link the two together and report the data.

To follow up it appears in the KB https://support.cireson.com/KnowledgeBase/View/63#/ that you still have to create a software asset to match for the inventoried software in SCCM. Meaning for each metered software option you still have to manually create the Software Asset entry. What am I missing?
