Hardware Assets listed within Configuration Items missing the majority of our identified computers?
From the Service Manager console under the Configuration Items - Computers - All Windows Computers menu I can see everything we have deployed within our domain pulled with the AD connectors we have set up. However, within the Hardware Assets menu I see only ninety-six (96) of the over 900+ workstation/laptop assets that we have recorded.
I have an Asset Management import connector created and set to query the following:
SELECT * FROM [ServiceManager].[dbo].[MT_Cireson$AssetManagement$HardwareAsset]
I'm clearly missing a piece to this puzzle but I can't wrap my head around it. How do I go about populating the hardware asset table with the remaining items?

The Computer CI's that you are getting from either AD or ConfigMgr (or both) are the base CI's with all the cool data from ConfigMgr.
The Hardware Asset CI is a totally different CI and contains all the Asset specific data like Cost center, Warranty Date, Received date etc.
A Hardware Asset has a relationship to a Computer CI so they are "Linked"
The Asset Management settings has settings that define when to create a new Hardware Asset and when not to. From what you are saying, these settings are set in such a way that it is only creating 96 of the over all 900+ workstations that exist inside your environment.
If you have a support and maintenance agreement with Cireson, please log a support call and one of our support team will be in touch to go over these settings to assist you in getting them working for you.
I hope this answers your quesiton.6
