How to make a task appear under the General Task section in a Hardware Asset Form

Hello,

I would like to make a task appear under the General Task section in a Hardware Asset Form as here below:

I created the task using the SCSM console (Library > Tasks) and it triggers a powershell script.

When creating the task, this part of the console can't be selected as it is an add-on.

I believe I should export the MP to xml and update the location, but don't know the correct syntax.

Is there someone that can help me?

Hi @Filip_Theyssens,

You are right. The tasks section is not exposed to the Tasks list and this would have to be manually added to get this to appear where you want it to.

I will message the dev team and see if I can get the correct location without cracking open the Asset Management MP and finding all the default refresh queries etc.

The target you are looking for in the management pack is:

Target="CAM!Cireson.AssetManagement.HardwareAsset"

Attached is an example MP for you to look at.
