Assign to Analyst by Group - Manual Activities

This doesn't seem to work. If I want to assign a manual activity to an analyst in the portal it just changes it for the service request, not the manual activity. Is this a bug or just not supported?

    The Tasks pane within the Portal are all based on the Parent work item. So when you load a Manual Activity, you are actually loading the Service Request and then being directed to the Activity Tab which has the MA in it. 
    You can see this in the URL of the Manual Activity, it'll show http://sm.contoso.com/ServiceRequest/Edit/SR1996?activityId=MA2002&tab=activity where we're Editing the SR, but the first page to show is the MA. 

    Currently this is by design, however I understand how that could be confusing (since the console has it's own Task panel for MAs), I would recommend adding a feature request to this community site to add tasks for MAs so we can pass this feedback on to our developers.
