Remote Manage App - Connection issues
We are currently using the Remote Manage App from several servers (and Desktops), however, we have noticed that when connecting to Clients that are Active/Online, it fails to connect (suggesting to Wake On LAN).
This seems to be a really sporadic issue, with the same Client connecting 1 minute, then not the next - and vice versa.
I have run through the Cireson FAQ on this, but all WinRM functions are enabled and firewall rules allowed.
There are no errors in event viewer on the SCCM app server, the client machine, or the server running the App (if different to SCCM server).
Has anyone had any similar issues with this app?
Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

wally_mead Member Advanced IT Monkey ✭✭✭That does not sound familiar at all, nothing that I've ever heard of before anyway. Since Remote Manage is just connecting through the Configuration Manager client through normal networking process, normal things like name resolution, network access, proper ports and protocols, etc. as well as the WinRM configuration. You stated that it works one time, then not the next (or vice versa). That 'theoretically' should eliminate any above the things I offered for you to check.
The WOL suggestion is just a normal thing we present when we can't successfully connect to the client for whatever reason. We assume that it is not online.
I will ask my developer if he has any suggestions about this to offer you. But to me, it sounds like some issue on the network.5

Will need to invest some time in investigating the cause of it.
