SCCM deployment with no client on the host machine

jessica210jessica210 Member IT Monkey ✭
I have a requirement where I need to deploy tools using SCCM. The trick here is there is no SCCM client available for that OS. Is there a way to deploy the tools on system which do not run SCCM client ??

    Hi Jessica,

Not using Configuration Manager. It can only deploy to computers that contain its client installed locally. It has no ability to 'manage' a computer that it not a client. You could consider Intune, although you also install an agent there, unless you want to treat it as a mobile device and enroll it that way. You can then use built-in mobile device management capabilities to manage the device, with limitations from what you might be familiar with in Configuration Manager.

Anyway, the answer is no for what you asked specifically. If you want to chat about it, feel free to respond and we can certainly do so,
