Knowledge Base Transfer from SharePoint List to Cireson

Brian_WiestBrian_Wiest Customer Super IT Monkey ✭✭✭✭✭
Management is now asking for us to lift our current Knowledge base housed as a SharePoint blog list, into Cireson. I have seen some tools out and about (of course cannot find them now having been given the requirement)
Has anyone else done this? Suggestions?
Thanks

    Answer ✓
    Yes and no.
    Yes as in the text
No as in you lose all text formatting and embedded pictures.
We do not have many so we are going to manually copy the content over.

Hey Brian, we are currently in the process of doing something similar but don't have a "set" way on how to move a mass amount of them at one time. I'll do some research and see if I can find anything that could make this process easier.

@Brian_Wiest - is it possible to get your Knowledge Articles into a CSV?

I think there is an automated tool for creating KBs via the api.  But I understand the formatting getting stripped out kind of being a deal breaker.  I'd suggest using base64 image encoding for the pics if possible.

Here's a little tool I use to base64 encode my pictures.
