Converted a user to analyst but additional features are not showing?

So I wanted a power user to have access at the same level as analyst.
I created a new group in AD, imported it to SM.
Added that group to both incident resolvers and problem analysts and service request analysts.
Restarted cache builder.
But its been several days and the user is not having access to the analyst features.

Thoughts please?

    Are they a member of the AD group you have configured in the portal Admin settings =AnalystsADGroup?
