issues with group assign

we recently upgraded to scsm 2016 and portal,8.4.3 for 2016. we have updated all the management packs as well. our issue is when work itemd get assigned to just a group the email notifications are not sending, if we assign to a group and an analyst the email notification sends,. Anyone else run into this?

    Hi Andy,

    Are you using the "Console Tier Mappings" app alongside "Group Assign?" This is a standalone app that plugs into "Group Assign" (and a few others) to allow for AD Groups to be mapped to Enum values.

    If using the tier mappings app, make sure that both Management Packs have been updated to their 2016 version. Also, make sure that the appropriate 2016 DLLs have been copied to the Service Manager installation folder (and make sure they are unblocked!).
