When upgrading the Outlook Console app to the latest version 8.0.2016...

When upgrading the Outlook Console app to the latest version 8.0.2016 does the old client need to be uninstalled? Does the new client need to be installed before the management pack?  will the old client still work with the new management pack?
I have about 75 analyst using the Outlook console.

    I have upgraded the client on a pilot group and it seems to work without issue on the older MP.  Once I have upgraded all the clients I will then upgrade the MP.

    I believe that the client will actually work with the new MP although I wouldn't recommend it.  You should just need to reinstall the client after the MP is upgraded.
