Need way to create New object for custom class
What is missing is the ability to create a New object of this class in the portal. There are no admin settings to enable & scope New CI creation to any group (similar to what currently exists for Work Items in Admin settings), no way to create it via the <New> button (lower left)- thus currently forcing us to the SCSM console to create an instance.

Cireson, I beg for this feature as well.
There are some fresh advices how to change custom CIs, check out the thread here: https://community.cireson.com/discussion/4516/how-to-create-a-custom-item-in-asset-management
We thought up workaround for creating new CIs, 'Server' object as @Gabriel_Lences mentioned: to publish request offering form with fields corresponding to attributes of the CI class. User would fill SR instead of actual CI object fields, Orchestrator (or PowerShell Activity) will catch such SR upon creation and create CI according to inputs.
Native support for creating and editing custom CIs would be much more convenient! Thanks.
Hi @Tom_Hendricks , are you able to explain how this is done? I've created a custom class / pretty sure I know how to create a grid view for the existing entries / be able to click in to / edit existing ones but need a form on the portal to be able to create new instances within that class. Thanks.
@Ryan_Kennedy1 - I used to have my own solution for this, but it's not nearly as elegant as the solution provided by @Geoff_Ross here: https://community.cireson.com/discussion/5498/create-config-items-in-cireson-portal
Thanks alot @Justin_Workman , I'll see how I go with that. Cheers.
